At Emmanuel, our approach to ministry to middle school and high school students is significantly different from many churches. We strive to have a student ministry that is Biblically-based, Church-integrated, Gospel-centered, Family-focused, Culturally-distinct, and missions-minded.
This philosophical and theological approach infiltrates every aspect of our ministry. In the Emmanuel Student Ministry, we aren't interested in the pragmatic "whatever-draws-a-crowd" approach that, in our estimation, is crippling the student ministries of evangelical churches of our nation. Partnering with parents, we believe it is our mission to help raise mature disciples of Jesus Christ who possess a Biblical worldview, a passion for God's glory, a hunger for personal holiness, a love for the local church, and a zeal to expand the Kingdom of Christ, beginning in their own homes and extending to the ends of the earth.
