

Jerad Johnson - Associate Pastor
Jerad joined our staff in April of 2019. A lifelong resident of southeast Georgia, he recently moved back to Blackshear after living in Ware County the previous 15 years. He spent many years in the IT industry before accepting the Lord’s call into full time ministry.
Prior to joining the staff, Jerad taught Sunday School and worked with both AWANA and the student ministry. He is married to Jessica, and they have three daughters, Natalie, Addie, and Kathryn.

Josh Johnson - Minister of Students
Josh began his service at EBC in January of 2021. A native of NC, he moved to GA in 2010 in order to pursue his education at Truett McConnell University where he earned both his B.A. and M.A. in theology.
Josh has been serving in student ministry since 2015 and simply desires to see students and families come to Christ, firmly establishing their lives on the unchanging truth of Scripture. He now resides in Blackshear with his wife, Cara, and son, Titus.

Tommy Lloyd - Administrator
Tommy has been serving Emmanuel Baptist Church since January of 1998. He is married to Beth, and they have two sons, Thomas and Mark. Tommy loves spending time with his four grandchildren.

Matt Rodgers - Minister to Children and Families
Matt joined the staff of EBC in August of 2010. He is a graduate of Pierce County High and Brewton Parker College. Matt is currently working on a MDiv degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
Matt and his wife, Jif, live in Blackshear along with their two sons, Matthew and Grayson. Matt grew up in the ministries of EBC. After serving Patterson Baptist Church and Jefferson Street Baptist Church in Dublin, GA, he is now serving the young families of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Richard Golden - Minister of Education
Richard rejoined the EBC staff in March 2015 as minister of education, having previously served here from 2002-2007. He oversees all aspects of EBC's Sunday School and discipleship ministries.
Richard and his wife, Debra, have 3 children, Kelly, Bobby, and Taylor. And a grandson Huck.

Andrew Fountain - Minister of Music
Andrew Fountain began his service at EBC in March 2017. A native of Columbus, he is a gifted guitarist, pianist, and vocalist. He and his wife, Amy, have three girls, Becca, Hannah, and Bella-Kate.
